Series
New Italian Enviroments
Series' director: Silvio San Pietro
Refraining from any dubious attempt at typological
analysis, the series will consist of a number of substantial volumes
devoted to Italian "settings" designed for different purposes, both
public and private. Above all, they will be tools of criticism and
sources of information, with a marked documentary connotation, supplying
ample and detailed information that will prove indispensable to
both professionals and the public.

Italian design
Series' director: Silvio San Pietro
A journey into the world of design through the analysis of products,
subdivided on the basis of their type, from the large to the small,
from the domestic to the industrial, or "from the spoon to the town"
as Ernesto Rogers put it. A story of the things and the ideas that
have given rise to products.

Stones
Series' director: Silvio San Pietro
With this book, the publishers Edizioni L’Archivolto inaugurates a series entitled STONES dedicated to special interior design themes, adopting a new streamlined editorial formula that will enable speedy updates on the state of the art.
Issued at intervals on specific topics, these large-format books will be illustrated throughout and accompanied by brief English and Italian commentaries, providing an up-to-date overview of new living design ideas, temporary installations, retail design, public venues – all neatly packaged at an accessible price.
01 Contemporary Living 02 Showrooms in Italy Zoom
Series' director: Silvio San Pietro
The new issue of specialist publications from the presses of L'Archivolto
opens with an inaugural number that introduces the series' characteristic
zoom-lens view on specific architectural details: in turn, the exclusive
focus of attention will be stairs, doors, windows, gates and railings,
fireplaces, swimming pools, balconies, and terraces, so as to create
a library of new project realizations. These single-theme books
will be published alongside a companion series on individual environments
with a distinct purpose, such as bathrooms, kitchens, mini-apartments,
attics and garrets. Illustrated throughout with large-format photographs,
each project is analyzed for its overall concept, with close-ups
to show the and constructional details, technical solutions, the
juxtaposition of materials, colors, and other particulars of the
design. Providing a follow-up to the series "New Italian Environments"
and "International Architecture & Interiors," the Zoom collection
offers a useful working and reference tool, in line with the publisher's
policy of providing the broadest possible repertoire of current
design trends.

production, along with traces of professional experiences in the
form of monographs.

Wunderkammer
Series' director: Lanfranco Colombo
The "Wunderkammer" series, dedicated to the photography
and published in limited edition in collaboration with Il Diaframma
Gallery, has been careful tailored to suit the purpose: a neat package
with flaps that open successively to reveal the photographs and
their author. The opening presentation is followed by a brief critical
overview, biographical notes and bibliography, and finally by the
"exhibition" itself. Once the package is opened the photographs,
printed on cards, can be removed and examined individually, thereby
enabling each one to be studied separately, attentively, uncompromisingly,
one after the other.

a limited run of only 500 copies, it contains an original and handsome
silk-screen print. Intended for the collector, the print is numbered
and signed and can be detached and framed. Four color plates mark
the beginning of the seasons. Fifty-three projects illustrate the
same number of weeks. A leather portfolio to hold the diary is also
